Watford vs Manchester City

Saturday Night Football and Watford take on Manchester City in this nights entertainment! This game can and will not be called so easily because not only have Watford been shocking us all with performances against the big teams in the Premier League but Manchester City have slipped up against teams on the lower half of the league!

The Christmas period is always tough on all teams but with Arsenal 1st and Leicester 2nd, Manchester City need a win, a big win or they risk falling behind but when the chips are down, City tend to deliver so I will go for a 2-1 win for Manchester City who will keep up with the top 2 with a win!

Should be a good game!

Arsenal vs Newcastle United

Welcome 2016, we start this year with Arsenal being on top of the Premier League and today they have visitors from up North as Newcastle United come down to face the Gunners this afternoon! 

Not every day you say that an Arsenal vs Newcastle is a top vs bottom match with Arsenal sat on top whereas Newcastle are near the bottom of the league which is strange considering how much they have spent in the last transfer window! 

Both teams could strengthen this month with transfers but as for today, Arsenal are clearly the favourites and that terrifies me because we have thrown games away when it looked like we should easily win!

Il go for an Arsenal win, we are at home and Newcastle made West Brom look like Barcelona so il say 3-0 to the Gunners  and another 3pts!

Arsenal vs A.F.C Bournmouth

Arsenal…lost 4-0 to Southampton…4-0 and we once again missed out on the chance to top the Premier League Table…why…why Arsenal…why do you torture your fans like this…it was the chance to go 1st! Every time we get that chance, you screw it up! Everytime! Its frustrating because you lose to West Brom, you draw with Norwich…now you get humiliated by Southampton, Are you serious?! 

I was lost for words about that result…shocked…ruined my Boxing Day! But that’s in the past now?! Today we face Bournemouth and I am worried because every time I assume we will win easily, we lose! So I don’t know what to say…will we win? I want us to but who knows? Arsenal…which teams turning up today?

Prediction….Arsenal draw 1-1! There, I won’t say we’ll win because they can be so unpredictable against teams like this so a draw because I’m scared to imagine us losing again, if we lose tonight…we won’t win the league! Because we screw up every chance we get! Why should we think we will win a thing if we can beat Bournemouth or West Brom or Norwich?!

BPL: Southampton vs Arsenal

Another chance for Arsenal to go to the top of the Premier League as tonight Arsenal travel to Southampton, a team that has slowly being slipping down the table at a somewhat alarming rate! 

In this situation, Arsenal appear as the clear favourites because of Southamptons recent form! But don’t rule the Saints out just yet as they have beaten Arsenal in recent years and if your a Gunner, having the team screw up a chance like this isn’t new and if it were to happen, I wouldn’t be amazingly shocked by it, disappointed but not that surprised!

I will go for an Arsenal victory, say…2-0 to Arsenal and we go top of the Premier League! We have to win because this could be our year! We are in form and have what it takes! So I say Arsenal win!

BPL: Arsenal Vs Manchester City

It’s 2nd place vs 3rd place, winner moves that bit closer to the summit of the mountain, or Leicester! It’s Arsenal taking on Manchester City, a game that is rarely not entertaining, always action packed and full of goals, unlike Manchester United this season! While it it can’t been seen as a major decider in the Premier League winner just yet…with it only being December, it will give a good indication as to who will be the first team to chase after the Foxes, Leicester City! If either team lose this game, they aren’t out of the Chase…not by a long shot!

Venue: The Emirates

The last two games played at The Emirates against Manchester City have ended up as a draw, although Arsenal haven’t here since the Opening Game of the season whereas Man City haven’t won away since September! It looks set to be a good game but it’as missing two vital pieces, one from both sides, Kompany for Man City and Sanchez for Arsenal.

Many will seriously consider either City or Arsenal to win the Premier League but I will think that neutrals will love to see Leicester defy the odds and shock the Footballing world! I’ll admit that it would be amazing to see that happen! If I could have one team win the league apart from Arsenal, I’ll go for Leicester!

With Christmas around the corner, I would be amazed if anyone other than a Leicester fan predicted that they would be on top of the table! Arsenal are 2nd which I’m happy with but with the team above us and Chelsea miles down near the bottom and Man United becoming the most boring team to play in this league….also Watford! I think this is slowly becoming the most shocking season we have ever had, no one can correctly predict who will win it all, anyone can beat anyone! It’s exciting and watchable for all! Will it remain that way or will normality soon take over once again…depends if Leicester fall away after Christmas or if they keep going on their amazing run but as for tonight, anything can happen…hell, we could even have Jose Mourinho nearly becoming Manchester United manager by the end of it!

My prediction? It’s tough to call but I will go for an Arsenal win, I have to! But that City squad looks really good, with Aguero, Silva and De Bruyne in it but we have Giroud, Cech and Ozil as well so it will be close but with home advantage, I think we can nick it but if not, a hard earned draw but as for now, 2-1 to Arsenal is my prediction for this game and I certainly hope it’s a far better game than Swansea vs West Ham or any game involving Man United this season!

Manchester United Vs Norwich Prediction

A game that could either be fast paced and fun…or another Van Gaal snorefest…preferably not the latter! I see it being a draw though because Man U will do what they have done in the last few games, like all of November and…do I even need to say it, it’s so boring, ATTACK! Norwich might actually feel like they can get something from this game and why not? Man U are far from what they once were under Ferguson….even under Moyes and that’s saying a lot!

I’ll go for a Man U win though, 1-0 only because Man U have rarely been a team that score multiple times in a game lately so 1-0 for me, although Rooney’s landmark appearance might spur a couple more…who knows but I just hope it’s a good game of football and not a snorefest…can’t imagine 70,000 plus fans falling asleep from the most boring football in the country at the moment…especially for those ticket prices!

Estonia vs England Prediction

Well England have already qualified for the Euro 2016 tournament in France next summer so tonight’s match isn’t as important as it could have been  had England lost at all in the group stages so far but they have yet to do so! And I doubt that tonight will be the first loss for them, I don’t see it but never say never with England, they might switch off because they have already qualified however! a win would ensure that England are in the top seeding when it comes to the group stage draws so that would be a nice bonus for the team…but try to remember that it’s England we’re talking about here, would getting into the top seeding really make a difference? Whoever we get in the group stages, it’ll be a war to get out of the groups!

I’m glad we’ve made it this far but I still want a performance in the last two games and one heck of a showing next summer in France! Especially with Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland in the game as well! Hard luck Scotland, watched the game and that last kick…

Arsenal 3 Manchester United 0 Half Time Talk

Ok…what’s going on…have I fallen asleep…is this a dream because from what I can see…we are 3-0 up against Manchester United…pinch me, I must be dreaming! Sanchez is on fire and along with a goal from Ozil, we have dominated so far but let’s not get carried away here guys, another 45 minutes to go and anything can happen but from here on out, we do NOT switch off, we push on wards and look for more goals! This could be a historic win for us today and we really need it for morale! No word if Sanchez was injured by that last tackle before the half ended but Come on guys! Get behind the team and lets finish off the Red Devils and get back in this title race!

United began to come back in it at the end and it could have been 3-1…if it were not for a great save by Cech to deny Martial! Overall a great first half but DON’T SWITCH OFF ARSENAL, PLEASE!!! I beg You to keep in the game and win!! Make this a fantastic weekend before the International break, Arsenal…make the Emirates roar!!!!!!

Leicester City 2 Arsenal 5 Final Score Review

Hello Internet, It’s Your DailyPickMeUp and today, we look at the Premier League fixture between Arsenal and Leicester City played at the King Power Stadium, a closely fought matched between a team that hasn’t lost so far in the league and another that has a point to prove in the league!

What happens when you put a fox against a cannon? You blow it to smithereens!! although it attacks and leaves a couple of scratches, Arsenal have blown Leicester apart at the King Powers Stadium and have collected 3 Pts, well deserved for the lads today! I honestly thought the score would be a lot closer then this which shows that Arsenal are still capable of surprising us all…if this team likes to turn up that is…sometimes I think they get lost on the way to the stadium or something!

Main talking point of course is that hat trick scored by Alexis Sanchez! The beast was unleashed upon Leicester and hopefully it’s the start of many goals for the Chilean Superstar as well as goals for Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud when apparently, Arsenal have no strikers….funny that…people can pretty much say anything and think it’s fact…well five goals against a team that hasn’t lost up to this point….think what you will but I think we are doing pretty well without these so-called strikers! 5 goals speaks volumes and Chelsea has been all forgotten about….we’ve moved on and are focusing on the future now and despite a very open game from Ranieri’s men, we were able to win the game very convincingly and show the league that the loss to Chelsea was a one-off and keep Mike Dean away from us…that bias referee! unfit to be a premier league referee clearly!

We move up a very familiar place in the Premier League…4th place, oh well it’s better to be in the top 4 than not to be there, even though everyone associates us with 4th place, but we get a win before the big game against Manchester United which is a big game considering United went top of the Premier League by beating Sunderland 3-0 and City lost 4-1 to Spurs…how did that happen? they started off so well yet now lost 2 games in a row…this campaign so far has had all big teams lose a couple of games so far now…it’s all wide open if you ask me…Arsenal have just a good chance to win the league like United, City or Chelsea…not Liverpool though….under Rodgers….not in a million years.

I love the Man United game although I have a feeling they will be seen as the favorites by the media, well we will have to do something about that. We have a good chance to get a win against a big club, especially now that Sanchez has started scoring again! start Walcott over Giroud and who knows what will happen…watch out for Martial though, the up comer is in red-hot form and who knows what he could do!
