Estonia vs England Prediction

Well England have already qualified for the Euro 2016 tournament in France next summer so tonight’s match isn’t as important as it could have been  had England lost at all in the group stages so far but they have yet to do so! And I doubt that tonight will be the first loss for them, I don’t see it but never say never with England, they might switch off because they have already qualified however! a win would ensure that England are in the top seeding when it comes to the group stage draws so that would be a nice bonus for the team…but try to remember that it’s England we’re talking about here, would getting into the top seeding really make a difference? Whoever we get in the group stages, it’ll be a war to get out of the groups!

I’m glad we’ve made it this far but I still want a performance in the last two games and one heck of a showing next summer in France! Especially with Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland in the game as well! Hard luck Scotland, watched the game and that last kick…

Team for tonight’s game:

1 Joe Hart,

2 Nathaniel Clyne,

3 Ryan Bertrand,

4 James Milner,

5 Gary Cahill (c),

6 Chris Smalling,

7 Theo Walcott,

8 Ross Barkley,

9 Raheem Sterling,

10 Harry Kane,

11 Adam Lallana

My prediction: 4-0 to England

COME ON ENGLAND!

Big news coming from England today as Arsenal have retained their FA Cup against Aston Villa and needless to say, it was easy for them, the final score was 4-0 and Aston Villa never really looked like they were in the game. I expected it to be a much closer game, considering Villa’s survival in the Premier League and the change that Tim Sherwood had brought to the club but it just wasn’t meant to be! Sadly for Villa, Arsenal has learnt from the past and meant business today, they didn’t fall 2-0 behind or let a lead slip in the dying minutes due to a goal keeper error, they dominated and never turned off and it helped them retain and make history.

Santi Cazorla was my man of the match, he is the engine that keeps Arsenal going and was very  vital today, as were Ozil, Sanchez, Walcott and Bellerin, I hope the club can find a way to add to the impressive squad and chase Chelsea, United and City next season!

10308293_10152790223341502_5673878053842831844_nGoals from Theo Walcott, Alexis Sanchez who had the goal of the game, Per Mertesacker and Olivier Giroud with a cheeky tap in that ensured that Arsenal would once again lift the trophy at Wembley and leave Prince William (A Villa fan struggling to keep a straight face as he handed the trophy to Per Mertesacker and Mikel Arteta to lift up together) I bet Prince Harry has been gloating like mad this evening and why not?! Surely bringing an end to the ‘Arsenal can’t win trophies gossip’ Where’s Man United, Liverpool’s or Manchester City’s trophy this season?

christian-benteke_3259175bVilla fans had to endure a not very good performance, not what they expected and to be fair, the team never arrived at the stadium! the fans deserved more because Villa choked today, I think the nerves of being in a final got to many of them and as well as it might only be the start of Tim Sherwood’s Villa career, it’s likely to be the end of Christian Benteke’s, was this his last game for the club? Could he end up at Arsenal? Or Liverpool? perhaps today’s loss may make him want out? Who knows but we shall soon see.

It should be an interesting summer, for both teams but let’s all rejoice that despite the recent events with FIFA, today…football was beautiful, tomorrow it shall be ugly again!

Well done Arsenal, a well deserved victory but commemorations to Aston Villa as well, a bright future ahead indeed.
