Happy New Year!

And thus 2015 comes to a close! Welcome 2016 and everything that comes with it! But let us remember the year that was 2015, apparently the warmest year this planet has had in a very long time and as well, 2016 is meant to be hotter! What highlights can we speak of in the future that makes us remember this year?

• The Paris Attacks– A series of attacks on the French capital which left up to 130 fatalities, the second terrorist attack in France in 2015
• Jeremy Clarkson is sacked by BBC for punching a fellow worker over steak! He moves to Amazon Prime! As for Top Gear, they get Chris Evans!
• A flight travelling from Sharm el-Sheikh to Saint Petersburg crashes, killing all 217 passengers and 7 crew members on board, many believe it to be caused by ISIS 
• Greece Economic Crisis which took Europe by storm for an entire month!
• Sepp Blatter announces intentions to retire as president of FIFA, eventually being banned for 8 years, although he intends to fight this! A massive shake up for FIFA expected in 2016 or so we all hope anyway
• Princess Charlotte of Cambridge is born, brother to Prince George
• Manchester United becoming the most boring Premier League Team…wow, most fans just said that for a joke, yet now it’s official…they really need a good 2016!

It’s been a year of ups and downs this year, the UK has started to name storms now…then again, we’ve had that many of them at the end of this years! It’s been a strange year and I hope that 2016 is a much more safer, more brightening year for us all!

Arsenal 2 Everton 1 Final Score Review

Well I’ll be…I got a score correct this time! 2-1 to Arsenal was the final score this evening as Arsenal go on top of the Premier League for the time being! Rounding off a memorable week for Arsenal…thank god! Overall a very good game, worth watching, especially after the entertainment factor called Jose Mourinho as he gets sent off by a Referee and loses 2-1 to West Ham, causing his team a 5th loss so far this season! Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy if you ask me!

Giroud and Koscielny headers won us the day and even though Everton got a goal back, we were able to hold on for the vital 3 points and we all now wait in anticipation for the outcome of the Manchester Derby…if City win, they return to the top but if United win, we may stay on top via goal difference which would be amazing! what a week it has been for Arsenal as we have defeated Watford, Bayern Munich and Everton in the space of 7 days! Not bad for a team that everyone accused of not being able to be genuine tittle contenders but with Chelsea fading further into the Premier League basement, Manchester United not being fully restored to their glory days behind Ferguson and Man City always being on and off, Arsenal have to be considered to be genuine contenders to win the Premier League.

I was hesitant about the Bayern game, saying that we should have focused more on the Premier League as we had more chance to win that and in a way I still stand by that but beating Bayern was memorable and topping the Premier League this evening was the cherry on top of the cake! with the Capital One Cup and Swansea on the horizon before our other Bayern Munich match in Germany, we have a chance to get two wins on the trot!

Man of Match: Ozil- he is our engine, he keeps things goal and is the assist king!

Arsenal vs Everton Prediction

Today we face Everton, a good team that will be wanting to get back to a win after recent losses but today might not be the best day to start off a winning streak when they come up against the Gunners! 

We have a good history of beating Everton so I think today will be no different because we seem to be on a roll, we have beaten Manchester United and Bayern Munich in recent weeks so I hope we continue that form on by beating the Toffees! 

My prediction today will be a 2-1 win for Arsenal! I think that we will win and tonight top the table!

Kermit The Frog and Mrs Piggy Break Up

Ok, so we are to understand that for the millionth time or that’s how much it feels anyway because these two always seem on and off, Kermit the Frog and Mrs Piggy have broken up and are no longer a couple…yawn…nothing to do with the upcoming television series coming this fall or anything, right?!  totally not an attempt to get higher viewers for the show because people will tune in to see the aftermath of the break up…of two puppets, and the relationship has now croaked and whether it can be repaired remains to be seen. Word on the street is that a certain Muppet is making his move

After careful thought, thoughtful consideration and considerable squabbling, Miss Piggy made the difficult decision to terminate our romantic relationship. We will continue to work together on television (“The Muppets”/Tuesdays 8pm this fall on ABC) and in all media now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, throughout the universe. However, our personal lives are now distinct and separate, and we will be seeing other people, pigs, frogs, et al. This is our only comment on this private matter.
